Applesauce – a classic, interpreted by NEOH

FRUITY CLASSIC, NEWLY INTERPRETED

Sometimes it's the simple things that work best. Warm fruit, natural sweetness, and recipes that have had their place in the kitchen for years. Applesauce is exactly that: classic, fruity, and versatile. Whether for breakfast, as a dessert, straight from the spoon, or as a topping – applesauce always works.

With NEOH ZERO+, the classic gets a modern upgrade – without added sugar, but with more fiber and full flavor.

INGREDIENTS FOR ABOUT 500g

  • 4 medium-sized apples
  • 75 ml water
  • 1-2 tbsp NEOH ZERO+ – maybe more depending on desired sweetness
  • Optional cinnamon or lemon juice

IT'S THAT EASY

1. Prepare the apples

Peel, core, and cut the apples into small pieces – the smaller the pieces, the faster they cook soft.

2. Cook

Put the apples with about 75 ml of water into a pot and simmer gently for about 10-15 minutes until soft – cover with a lid for faster cooking 😉

3. Puree

Puree the cooked apple pieces finely, depending on the desired consistency.

4. Season

Sweeten with NEOH ZERO+ and optionally refine with cinnamon or lemon juice. Taste as you go – it’s easy to add a spoon more, but hard to take one away. 😄

5. Serve and enjoy

Now all that’s left is one thing: ENJOY THE TASTE. Whether warm, cold, plain, or as a topping – whatever tastes good is allowed. 😎

NEOH TIP

Applesauce is not only great with classic desserts but also pairs excellently with porridge, yogurt, pancakes, or as a fruity component in bowls.

CONCLUSION

Applesauce is one of those recipes that never goes out of style. Easy to make, naturally delicious, and always a good idea. With NEOH ZERO+, the classic gets a modern upgrade without losing its original character.
